3 Simple Steps to Converting Twitter to a Targeted Website Traffic Machine
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010New online marketers have a common problem after jumping in and signing up for the “wonderful” programs that guaranteed you to make you lots of cash fast. They fail to make anything at all and leave frustrated and convinced everything is a scam. One main reason most programs fail to produce for the new marketer is, they don’t tell you how to get targeted website traffic to your offer.
If you are reading this, you certainly found out that without traffic, you have nothing. No program, no offer, no system is worth a single cent if you can’t get targeted traffic to the website. Buying traffic from “guaranteed visitor” providers nearly always ends in a disaster – money spent with no results.
You likely stumbled upon “free” traffic exchange networks. But all that happened there was you spent hours surfing endlessly to get what? Usually you get nothing. Everyone in there is using the same offer, the same squeeze page, the same everything… Results = nothing!
So let’s get serious. There are free traffic sources, that will get you targeted website traffic. But you must know how to use them. One of my favorites is Twitter. Certainly you have heard of it. A social network of dynamic proportions, and if used correctly, can bring you tons of targeted website traffic.
So here are three quick steps to get you started on the right foot. If you want Twitter to bring you targeted website traffic, you must be set up correctly and use it as a social network:
1. Have a blog (yes, you need a blog related to your niche). Then create a twitter account with a user name very close to your blog name or related directly to your business niche.
2. Use Twitter’s search capability to find targeted followers that would be good for targeted website traffic. Start requesting to follow as many of the people as possible from the search results.
3. Send “tweets” to your followers relating to information posted in your blog. Don’t constantly send them links. Rarely send links. Sales links sent constantly will drive your followers away.
I want to emphasize the importance of these three steps. There is no sense in making your efforts in Twitter overly difficult and frustrating like other so called targeted traffic resources. Your blog, domain name and twitter name are the first step and most critical.
Using the “misguided,” non-niche related names and domains will make everything difficult to remember for your followers. So, don’t ignore this first step. If you have to, start over with a new domain, blog name, and twitter name.
Step 3 is just as vital. I can quite literally guarantee you will loose followers as fast as you make them if you send flurries of sales links. This is a social network. You must be social. Your followers will accept and check your links as long as you have something to say besides “buy this, buy that, buy from me.”
These three simple steps will get you started rapidly in Twitter to finding highly targeted website traffic that will come to your blog or website almost effortlessly. Start now on Twitter and you can bring targeted website traffic to your offer today.

Understanding ourselves is also critical to traffic creation. Why do I say this? Well, I have found that I need to be focused, and completely at ease, in order to relax enough, and ‘place myself’ in the head of the person reading my website. What questions are they asking? What do They want information on? What is their real issue or question.
To learn more about this, and other website traffic issues, I highly recommend the Traffic Recipe Cookbook, as well as the Self help data base.
To help ensure your mindset is always right, I highly recommend the daily reading as well of personal improvement material, and the Success Strategy System.
