Traffic Empires- Creating a Tsunami of Traffic For Your Site

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

I am well aware that to say you can create a Traffic Tsunami or Traffic Empire is a big and bold term. I can and will stand by that. It is possible.

After all, many of the successful web entrepreneurs, with websites that have a sales page, or other revenue generating page, that end up attracting clients, are sites that are doing something right to get ahead. That is what this is all about. I am hoping to help you understand that when you have a website, you too, can attract many visitors tat er hungry for what you have.

Now, in my case, with a site about traffic, I make a point of optimizing my site to be found in search engines when people are seraching for information relating to traffic. I’m relatively sure you can see where I am going here.

If someone is looking for information on xyz widgets, you want to have your site optimized for the keywords, xyz widgets.

Now, what can you do to achieve this massive traffic to your site?

Amongst other things, you ned to make sure that your key words, and variations of the eywords are available in the title of the site, as well as in any headings, boldings and other prominant areas on your site.

It’s best to maintain a density of around 2 to 3 percent keyword density, as well as to have outbound links with the keyword in it. Hence, I can point you to article  marketing for traffic generating ideas.

These links are important as they help to build your website’s value in the eyes of the serach engines.

It is also a good idea to get links with your site’s keywords at other websites, pointing to your site.

This can be through requests, as well as commenting on other blog sites, and building relationships with other website owners. It is also helpful to develop relationships where you can joint venture, and participate in quality linking to your site. Thsi all takes time, and is a normal process to stand by with. Building these inbound links does take time, but the effort is well worth the returns.

I also recommend you create videos and place them on video sites, like You Tube, as an example, and ensure that you are linking to your site with your web address as part of the description.

I make it a point of creating a video per day for my various sites, and also make sure that I am writing at least two articles per day. I actually try for more on a daily basis, but set these minimums to make sure I am always building backlinks to my sites.

I also am able to point you to the Online Marketing Bootcamp where there are massive amounts of detail to help you succeed in these interesting online marketing times.

Link Building and RSS Feeds in Website Traffic Creation

Monday, July 11th, 2011

In any traffic building exercise, there are a number of processes that we need to look at completing.

You see, I discovered, by very hard experience that there really is no such thing as push button software that just makes it all work for you. Certainly, there are some software systems that help, to a degree, but overall, it is all about actually doing the work of patient link building, providing quality content, and building a presence on the web that is natural in growth.

 Creating Backlinks Over Time

I know it takes time, but that is the point, it is all about creating a natural build in links inwards, pointing to your site.

You see, whilst there is no doubt that the algorithms of the search engines are always changing, the fact remains that humans are not. We want quality-

  • We want to see on a website what we are searching for
  • and we want the website to load fast
Effectively, we need to develop as many backlinks from authority sites as possible, using our variouskey words in the link hypertext. In order to understand this, there are programs like backlink builders to help you although I still like to include the manual process of writing articles, and creating links from .edu blogs and the like.
I will be writing more about this tomorrow, but for now, concentrate on actually creating quality backlinks to your site from quality pages.
I do this in the following ways:
  • I create great articles that have my keyword linked back to my sites
  • I create squidoo pages with great content
  • I comment and create guest posts on .edu extension blogs
  • I also create guest posts on authority sites, and feed my links to RSS aggregators as well.
  • I regularly update my blogs eityh new material to help them remain informative and updated for humans and the engines.

Website Traffic Myths – Why Believing These Things Can Keep You Broke & Destroy Your Business

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Did you know that you are quite possibly self destructing your online success without even knowing it? In this article I want to show you how to avoid the traffic myths that keep people broke and drive them out of business.

Getting Free Visitors Will Make You More Profits…

That is the first myth you need to stop believing.

I know you’re probably like most people and have worked out the numbers on your spreadsheet and figured out that you can get rich if you get enough free traffic to your site….

Here Is The Harsh Reality — Making this happen is not as easy as the guru’s make it out to be.

You have to realize that it takes a long time for a site to get ranked in the search engines. So while you’re tweaking your rankings for a year, you’re losing out on thousands of dollars that you could have been making if you used paid traffic and made a profit.

My Market Is To Saturated & There Isn’t Room For Me…

This is another big myth that people believe that leaves them dead broke. You have to realize that most markets are not over saturated and there is room for you if you are good.

You want to have competition as they are great resources to show you what is going on in your market.

Let them figure out what works and then you can model yourself after their success.

Not only that – if they can do it, you can too if you know what you are doing and use the right system.

The final thing you need to do is watch this quick video that shows you the “paint by numbers” approach to getting automated traffic to your website in no time flat! Click Here Now

Traffic Resources

Understanding ourselves is also critical to traffic creation. Why do I say this?  Well, I have found that I need to be focused, and completely at ease, in order to relax enough, and ‘place myself’ in the head of the person reading my website.  What questions are they asking?  What do They want information on? What is their real issue or question.

To learn more about this, and other website traffic issues, I highly recommend the Traffic Recipe Cookbook, as well as the Self help data base.

To help ensure your mindset is always right, I highly recommend the daily reading as well of personal improvement material, and the Success Strategy System.

Ways To Increase Targeted Web Site Traffic

Monday, January 25th, 2010

When it comes to making money off a web site, there is one key element that must be present. That element is traffic. If traffic is low, the returns will be, as well. If traffic is high, and web masters have learned how to increase targeted web site traffic, the returns should be better than average. There are all kinds of ways to increase targeted web site traffic that don’t necessarily cost an arm and a leg.

The reasons to work to increase targeted web site traffic are many. Whether a web site is designed to act as a sales outlet or it’s simply an informational site that hosts affiliate ads, text ads or other such paying promotional spots, the way to garner money is to garner interest in the site itself. Unless a site’s operators have learned how to increase targeted web site traffic the pages could get lost in the ether, so to say.

Driving traffic to a site involves learning how to increase targeted web site traffic. There are four major things any web site can do to increase targeted web site traffic and hits without spending a fortune on graphics and designs. Let’s look at each.

Keywords

Search engines are often the mode most people use to find new web sites. Getting good placement in most search engines involves the use of keywords and key phrases. When these are used correctly, it’s possible to increase targeted web site traffic. Keywords are nothing more than the words a person might use to find a site like yours. When these are used in the titles of articles, in the articles themselves and on the pages, it’s possible to increase targeted web site traffic.

Link trading

Another great way to increase targeted web site traffic is to trade links with other similar or complementary sites. This can be achieved by simply e-mailing the owner or manager of another site or by getting involved with services that exchange links. This way to increase targeted web site traffic generally doesn’t cost anything other than dedicating a small space to the exchange site for its own link.

Keep content fresh

One of the things that helps increase targeted web site traffic is to keep a site fresh and interesting. The more it’s updated, the better. This can help keep the same users coming back to learn and read more and it can assist in better search engine placements and link exchanges, too. Don’t discount this for helping to increase targeted web site traffic.

Learning to increase targeted web site traffic isn’t very difficult and it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. With some careful planning, almost anyone can have a site that gets a fair amount of hits on a daily basis.

Twelve Simple Tips on How to Get Repeat Web Traffic

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Getting traffic is the lifeblood of your website. Getting repeat traffic is just as important as those who see your message often are more likely to buy from you. Here are twelve simple strategies you can use to ensure you get repeat web traffic on your site.

1. Keep your website updated. Sites that are not changed often fall from favour in the search engines. If you don’t have anything you particularly want to update, then consider installing an RSS feed on topics of interest or other scripts that change the content of your site.

2. Create value on your web sties. Allow partners and affiliates to link on your site and gain extra backlinks. You can do cross promotions and offer ebooks or information not directly competing with your own products.

3. Offer something for free. It might be a report or an ebook or other immediate electronic download, but it allows you to capture your website visitor’s name and email so you can continue to contact them and continue to create value for them.

4. Offer an opt-in list (similar to #3) for a special discount or special offer. Do anything that offers a high perceived value that will get some of your visitors email addresses.

5. Remind people to bookmark your site, add it to their favourites, subscribe in an RSS feed or set it as their homepage. Reminding them to do this increases their chances of returning.

6. Add a recommend this site to a friend script somewhere on your site. Again tie it in with free offers as an incentive for them to use the script. Add a pre written title such as “I thought you might be interested in this site”.

7. Keep your navigational links and logo or branding on every page so your site visitors know where they are. Keep your pages consistent in theme and make sure your visitors have a way to contact you. When writing articles, leave a comment box for people to add their views.

8. Ensure you have a privacy policy page on your site. In some countries this is now law. Detail how you use any data collected and for what purpose. Don’t sell, share or rent their details with anyone, it isn’t worth the hassle.

9. Address your customers most frequently asked questions with a FAQ or help page. Use a virtual online assistant to help answer basic questions and provide contact details. The more valuable a product, the more important this becomes.

10. Use keywords and keyphrases in all of your content to help the search engines rank your site better. It will also help your customers find you again if they do a search for you.

11. Treat your opt-in subscribers with respect. Always give them a way to opt out of your mailing list. Use a third party tool such as GetResponse or AWeber to manage your opt-in lists professionally. Never spam them or overload their inboxes. Ensure anything you send them will have value to them and not just be poorly disguised sales letters every time you contact them.

12. Create a way for your visitors to interact such as a forum, where they can become part of a community.

Follow these twelve tips and you will be well on your way to creating a group of loyal repeat website traffic.
